This artwork happens to have a lot of symbolism! It is what a pagan offering would sometimes look like, perhaps alongside a broken tool or weapon.
The flowers are as follows: Narcissi- for good fortune and prosperity, Yarrow- for healing, courage and love, Poppies- for sleep and hope, and Camomile for peace and healing.
The skull is considered to be the seat of the soul and has been endowed with ritual value since ancient times. Among the Celts, the skull was considered a vessel of sacred power that immunises a person from the forces of evil and gives them health and prosperity 💀
The death moth symbolises mortality and transformation.
The snake is often a symbol of duality- good and bad, healing or poison.
And, of course, each of the fruit has its own symbolism 🍓🍎🍃🥀
